The award is the result of pressure from the fans of his former club Glasgow Celtic. On Tuesday, the Nou Camp was the setting for yet another demonstration of the high regard in which Henrik Larsson is held by the fans - but in this case the fans of his former club Glasgow Celtic, where he played for seven years. The 35-year-old striker was included in a list of honours drawn up by former British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw last June after pressure from the Celtic fans. The award - 'Member of the British Empire' - is honorary in nature given that Larsson is not a British citizen.
