Touré Racially Abused In Mallorca, Referee Reports
The referee of Barcelona's encounter against Mallorca in the Ono Estadi on
Saturday included racist abuse aimed at Touré Yaya from a small section of
the crowd.
Rafael Ramírez Domínguez put the incident into his match report at the
final whistle and the Balearic club will now face an investigation.
According to the matchday official, remarks were made to Touré as he was
substituted in the 69th minute of the Blaugrana's 2-0 victory.
According to the report, members of the public insulted the Barça player
when he was replaced by Edmílson, in such a way that it should be considered
by the Antiviolence tribunal.
This is the first time that a referee has ever reported hearing racist abuse
at the home of Mallorca, who have Pierre Webó in their ranks.
