French Open 2011 Garcia, just 17 and ranked a lowly 188 in the world, stormed to a 6-3, 4-1 lead before Sharapova reeled off the next 11 games to claim her place in the third round. "She's unbelievable. She's going to be very good," said Murray, who had preceded Garcia and Sharapova on Philippe Chatrier court. "I like the way she hits the ball. I've watched Sharapova play a lot of times, and quite often when she plays younger opponents they struggle to deal with sort of her power. "If anything, I thought Garcia was hitting the ball harder. When Sharapova was hitting the ball big to her, she was returning her serve no problem. And that's a very good sign against someone like Sharapova at her age." Garcia was playing only her second tour level event on Thursday having also made the second round of the Australian Open this year. But Murray believes she could fill the vacuum which will be left once the likes of the Williams sisters have called it quits. "I think in a few years there might be a bit of a void in the women's game. The Williams sisters are coming towards the end of their careers and it's time for some of the younger girls to step up.
