Do you believe them?
To promote football does not really need 100 brand new footballs.
Baseball in Taiwan was actually built on the base of rubbish wooden bats,
paper groves and very cheap rubber balls.
The key point is, do not limit children to play footall, or don't ask them to
play whatever balls but never football.
Plus, do get football broadcast on the Public TV (so no advertisement)
and get a reasonable commentator. Some current ones are quite rubbish.
The 100 footballs, or the hundreds footballs given to the country whose
team visiting Taiwan last time (do you remember this?), is just consuming
the FIFA. The government have tried to make use of the worldwide game to
make some imagation that they are doing something for you, or football.
However, they have been doing nothing for football for ages.
That guy wants to promote Taiwanese team from 156th to 100th in 8 years.
He probably thought he was President Chiang fighting with Japanese troop.
Are those countries from 101th to 155th all very stupid teams?
Given 100 children at 8 years old now as football beginners,
you cannot expect more than 50% of them become very good players when they are
16 years old. How many players are required to form a national team?
Do NOT be non-sense, the DPP government, or don't think all of us here are
non-sense. I don't want to hear another 5 year 500 billion to top 100 lie.
For God's sakes, just give me a good commentator by 2010 will make me happy.
