"What I said is how I feel, point blank," Jackson said. "That's not going to change." While at a promotional event in New York exactly a month ago, Jackson told an audience, "Um ... I don't think I'll be a Warrior next year. I'm looking to leave." Jackson was fined $25,000 by the league for "public statements detrimental to the NBA" on Sept. 15. I came into basketball as a winner, and I want to continue to win. I'm never going to settle for losing. I'm always going to be upset or pissed off until I start winning."
