Henman拿到Nottingham 的外卡,
將會參加此項賽事.
賽會主席說:
“I can confirm that Henman, the British No.2, has today been awarded one of
the three available wild cards into the main draw of The Nottingham Open that
starts on Monday
“As the holder of 11 ATP singles titles and as a four-time semi-finalist at
Wimbledon, Tim is a truly world class player who is certain to thrill
Nottingham's packed centre court next week."
Henman稍早對敗戰的說法:
didn’t capitalise on my opportunities,” said Henman. “It was a difficult
match for me… to be up 4-2 in the third and not finish it off is
disappointing.
“The way I’ve been practising has been excellent and I don’t think there’
s a magic formula.
“I’ve got to keep working on the right things and hopefully that will
translate to the match court.
“I’d love to play badly and win rather than keep hitting the ball alright
and losing so I’ve got to stick at it.
並表示希望參加Nottingham:
Maybe there’ll be an opportunity to play in Nottingham next week and
hopefully things will go a bit better there.”
