Dodgers stunned in finale at Wrigley
NL West lead falls to one-half game on eve of crucial series

CHICAGO -- Aramis Ramirez's three-run homer off reliever Brett Tomko in a
four-run seventh inning Thursday lifted the Cubs to a 6-5 comeback victory
over the Dodgers, whose National League West lead over San Diego was trimmed
to one-half game.
The Dodgers held leads of 2-0 and 5-2 on a two-run homer by Marlon Anderson
in the second inning and a three-run homer by J.D. Drew in the sixth inning.
Dodgers rookie starter Hong-Chih Kuo allowed the Cubs two runs in six innings
and appeared headed toward his second consecutive victory, but Tomko took
over and allowed the Cubs four runs on four hits.
The Dodgers and Padres open a four-game series at Dodger Stadium Friday night.
