The wing Brazilian Anderson Varejao hit this Monday a contract of three
years with the Charlotte Bobcats. The player now awaiting the release of th
e Cleveland Cavaliers to act on his new team in the NBA.

The Cavs, as have the priority in the hiring of Varejao, will from this
Tuesday one week (until day 11) to cover the proposal of the Bobcats. After
this period, the wing will be able to play in the season 2007/2008 with the
shirt number 17 of Charlotte.

The contract of the Bobcats, including, there is a clause that offers t
he Anderson Varejao the choice to stay or not in the team for the third yea
r but will be free agent.

"Charlotte is a new team, which has talented players such as (the wing
/ pivotal Emeka) Okafor and (the owner Raymond) Felton, and doing a good jo
