HEURELHO GOMES: Suspect Brazilian should have done better for Arsenal's
equaliser from a near-post corner, which he failed to collect. Little chance
with the second goal - 5.
ALAN HUTTON: After a promising opening, the former Rangers man was caught out
for Arsenal's third and fourth goals - 6.
VEDRAN CORLUKA: Croatia defender kept busy by van Persie and produced some
important blocks - 7.
JONATHAN WOODGATE: Good battle up against Adebayor, which limited the impact
of the Togo striker - 7.
BENOIT ASSOU-EKOTTO: Solid, if unspectacular display from the Cameroon
defender. Sometimes drawn out of position and booked for careless block on
Walcott - 6.
GARETH BALE: Liked to get forwards, but had to work the flank well when
doubling up on former Southampton team-mate Walcott. Replaced in second half
- 7.
DAVID BENTLEY: Ex-Gunner was greeted by jeers, but silenced them with a
stunning 40-yard strike for the opening goal. At centre of most Spurs
positive moves. Blotted his copybook with a caution after a clumsy challenge
on Clichy - 8.
LUKA MODRIC: Croatia playmaker saw plenty of the ball as Spurs had better of
first half, but his influence faded after the break - 7.
JERMAINE JENAS: Good battle with Denilson in the middle and put in plenty of
strong challenges to help break up Arsenal's attacks. Fine strike to set up
grandstand finish with a minute left - 7.
TOM HUDDLESTONE: Spread the ball around well, and was decent link-up between
midfield and attack. However, conceded needless free-kick which led to
Arsenal's second goal - 6.
ROMAN PAVLYUCHENKO: Plenty of running from the Russian, but failed to make an
impact around the Arsenal box. Replaced in second half - 6.
SUBSTITUTES
AARON LENNON (for Bale, 55): Plenty of running, and was in the right place at
the right time to snatch an amazing point in stoppage time - 7.
DARREN BENT (for Pavlyuchenko, 68): Grabbed Spurs a lifeline with almost his
first touch when he capitalised on a mistake by Almunia - 7.
CHRIS GUNTER (for Hutton, 80): Came in to shore up the defence, but match was
already over - 6.
