SPURS SET TO TAKE ON MEDIA INTERN Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is offering a unique opportunity for an intern to join the Club's thriving Press Office for the 2012-2013 campaign at their brand new training centre in Enfield. It promises to be another exciting season at White Hart Lane with the team aiming to once again rival the top sides in the Premier League, while seeking to pick up silverware in the FA Cup and League Cup as well as on the European stage, and you could be a part of it! The Club is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with an extensive knowledge of football who is equipped to: - Monitor the media across the online, broadcast and written spectrum - Collate media coverage in a logical manner and summarise key stories in a concise way with a good eye for what is considered newsworthy - Support the press office with media interviews and player appearances - Host media on matchdays at White Hart Lane and at regular press events (you will be required to work at weekends) - Maintain and update press office records - Absorb new information and concepts quickly - Produce content for club media channels The ideal candidate should live locally to the Club's new training base in Bulls Cross, Enfield (within 20 miles) and hold a full UK driving licence. The Club will cover your expenses including travel and food during the working hours of your internship.
