Burlington Indians (R) Appalachian League Mahoning Valley Scrappers (Short-A) New York-Penn League Lake County Captains (A) South Atlantic League Kinston Indians (High-A) Carolina League Akron Aeros (AA) Eastern League Buffalo Bisons (AAA) International League 2A和3A的名單還沒公布,Buffalo Bisons是今年的冠軍隊。 2004 Top 20 Prospects: Appalachian League 18. Juan Valdes, of, Burlington Age: 19 Ht: 6-0 Wt: 150 B-T: B-R Drafted/Signed: Indians '03 (5) A cousin of Astros outfielder Carlos Beltran, Valdes possesses a similar skill set, especially defensively. Few cover more ground in center field, though his arm strength might be a tick below average. His pure speed and baserunning instincts placed him atop the league in steals and triples before he was promoted to the Sally League. The biggest question for Valdes comes at the plate. He's a slap hitter who must make more consistent contact and improve his bunting to fit at the top of an order. He also needs to add strength and improve his plate discipline. 歷年成績: Year Avg G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO HBP SH SF GDP SLG OBP OPS 2003 R .223 39 130 14 29 3 1 1 14 5 3 10 33 0 6 2 3 .285 .275 560 2004 R .269 38 134 24 36 4 4 1 5 21 3 18 27 2 1 0 1 .381 .364 745 2004 A .237 25 97 18 23 0 0 1 10 20 3 15 23 2 1 2 2 .268 .345 613 New York-Penn League 8. Tony Sipp, lhp, Mahoning Valley Age: 21 Ht: 6-0 Wt: 185 B-T: L-L Drafted/Signed: Indians '04 (45) One of the more athletic players in the NY-P, Sipp stole 20 bases this spring at Clemson, where he played in the outfield and worked out of the bullpen. He lasted until the 45th round because of signability concerns, but the Indians signed him for $130,000 after he spent part of the summer in the Cape Cod League. The rap on Sipp as a college pitcher was that he had very good stuff but never was able to put it all together. He put it together rather nicely for the Scrappers, posting a 74-13 strikeout-walk ratio in 43 innings. Sipp's live arm generates a low-90s fastball that he's not afraid to locate anywhere in the strike zone. His slider could become a plus pitch, and he has good feel for a changeup. 歷年成績: Year W L ERA G GS IP H R ER HR BB SO WP H/9 W/9 K/9 WHIP 2004 A 3 1 3.16 10 10 42.2 33 23 15 5 13 74 3 6.96 2.74 15.61 1.08 12. Mike Butia, of, Mahoning Valley Age: 21 Ht: 6-2 Wt: 215 B-T: L-R Drafted/Signed: Indians '04 (5) Butia is a masher who would fit right in with Cleveland's potent offense. He has quick hands and a good approach, allowing him to produce for power and average from the left side of the plate. "For a big, strong power hitter, his strike-zone recognition is tremendous," an American League scout said. "You rarely see him chase anything out of the zone. He's focused when he gets to the plate, has a very good plan, and he stays with it, and it shows." The Indians project Butia as a corner outfielder, but he's not particularly athletic and is average at best defensively. His arm is below average, though he does have a quick release. 歷年成績: Year Avg G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO HBP SH SF GDP SLG OBP OPS 2004 A .315 62 232 32 73 17 1 5 44 0 1 24 54 8 0 1 1 .461 .396 857 16. Argenis Reyes, of, Mahoning Valley Age: 22 Ht: 5-10 Wt: 160 B-T: B-R Drafted/Signed: Indians FA '01 (Dominican Republic) Reyes has yet to make it to full-season ball in four years as a pro, but he may be worth the wait. Previously a second baseman, he moved to center field early this summer to take better advantage of his plus speed. A switch-hitter who makes contact, Reyes can become a leadoff man if he learns to draw more walks. He's a slap hitter who won't have much power. But he can wreak havoc on the bases and has the tools to turn into a plus defender. "He can throw, field, run, hit. There's something about that Reyes kid," Vermont manager Jose Alguacil said. "Since the first day I saw the guy, I really liked him." 歷年成績: Year Avg G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO HBP SH SF GDP SLG OBP OPS 2003 R .276 39 152 26 42 2 0 0 9 14 1 7 23 3 1 0 3 .289 .321 610 2004 A .312 73 324 53 101 11 0 0 20 27 9 15 36 5 0 3 4 .346 .349 695 South Atlantic League 4. Adam Miller, rhp, Lake County Age: 19 Ht: 6-4 Wt: 175 B-T: R-R Drafted/Signed: Indians '03 (1S) In a year dominated by high-ceiling position players, Miller made his mark with power pitching. The hardest thrower among Sally League starters, Miller regularly registered 96-97 mph on the radar gun, sitting in the 94-95 range with excellent life down in the strike zone. His hard slider and heavy heater made him especially tough on lefthanders, who batted just .221 with no home runs in 104 at-bats against him. "He was the elite arm in this league," Lakewood manager P.J. Forbes said. "We hammered him in one game when he didn't locate his stuff, but the next time we saw him he was dirty. His fastball and slider were more than plus." 歷年成績: Year W L ERA G GS IP H R ER HR BB IBB SO WP H/9 W/9 K/9 WHIP 2003 R 0 4 4.96 10 10 32.2 30 20 18 2 9 0 23 1 8.27 2.48 6.34 1.19 2004 A 7 4 3.36 19 19 91.0 79 39 34 7 28 0 106 5 7.81 2.77 10.48 1.18 2004 A 3 2 2.08 8 8 43.1 29 17 10 1 12 1 46 2 6.02 2.49 9.55 0.95 California League 2. Michael Aubrey, 1b, Kinston Rated one of the best pure hitters in the 2003 draft, Aubrey dominated the CL, hitting for average and power over the first half of the season before earning a promotion. His plate discipline was also exceptional, as he struck out 26 times and walked 27. Defensively, Aubrey has been touted as a future Gold Glove candidate, though some around the league didn’t see it. "His footwork is average at best right now," one manager said. "He’s more of a John Olerud type of guy to me." 歷年成績: Year Avg G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO HBP SH SF GDP SLG OBP OPS 2003 A .348 38 138 22 48 13 0 5 19 0 0 14 22 1 0 1 2 .551 .409 960 2004 A .339 60 218 34 74 14 1 10 60 3 1 27 26 12 0 1 4 .550 .438 988 2004 AA .261 38 134 13 35 7 0 5 22 0 0 15 18 3 0 4 3 .425 .340 765 13. Ryan Garko, 1b/c, Kinston Compared by many to 2003 league MVP Chris Shelton because he lacks a true position, all Garko did was mash at three different stops this season. And like Shelton, the first pick in the Rule 5 draft last year, both players split time between first base and catcher during their respective stints in the CL. "Those guys are a lot alike in a lot of ways," said an NL scout. "For me, Garko is the better defender at both positions. He has shown more power also, but they both have swings without holes in them." Before he earned a promotion to Double-A Akron (and eventually Triple-A Buffalo), Garko showed good raw power and ability to make consistent, hard contact. Defensively, he's below average as a catcher; he stabs at the ball as a receiver, and his poor footwork and slow glove-to-hand transfer negate his average arm strength. 歷年成績: Year Avg G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO HBP SH SF GDP SLG OBP OPS 2003 A .273 45 165 23 45 8 1 4 16 1 1 12 19 4 2 0 5 .406 .337 743 2004 A .328 65 238 44 78 17 1 16 57 4 1 26 34 15 0 1 6 .609 .425 1034 2004 AA .331 43 172 29 57 15 0 6 38 1 0 14 28 6 0 2 3 .523 .397 920 2004 AAA .375 6 24 3 9 1 0 0 7 0 0 2 4 0 0 2 0 .417 .393 810 -- 有沒有人願意幫忙翻譯一下啊^^" -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.168.145.151
