SAITAMA - Inter were beaten 1-0 by Urawa Red Diamonds in the 2004 Saitama City
Cup. The winning goal came after a dubious penalty decision when referee
Nishimura pointed to the spot after a contact between Toldo and Emerson. The
Brazilian striker converted the resulting penalty in the 51st minute.
The Nerazzurri had more chances than their Japanese opponents and were denied
on four occasions due to some debatable offside decisions.
