嗯...這篇是從 FIFA.com 上轉過來的 Analysis 大家自己看看吧... ---------------------------------------------- Japan and their head coach Zico have largely managed to avoid the drama that has dogged their fellow East Asian rivals, China and Korea Republic. While the former have been eliminated altogether and the latter have gone two years without an impressive performance, the Japanese have successfully kept their focus on the 2006 FIFA World Cup. A tough Group B task means they will have to overcome Iran, Bahrain and Korea DPR to claim the table’s top spot and the automatic berth for Germany 2006. While inspiring few in winning 2004’s Asian Cup, Zico’s charges have proven to have more than their share of composure, experience and killer instinct. They will need to have all of these working for them if they are to hold off a talent-laden Iran side. Despite losing out to hosts China in the semi-final of the Asian Cup, the Iranians showed all of their potential in a 4-3 victory over the Korea Re- public -- courtesy of a hat-trick from Ali Karimi, newly-crowned AFC Player of the Year for 2004. Add the lethal Karimi with legend Ali Daei, Hamburg player Mehdi Mahdavikia, Bayern Munich midfielder Vahid Hashemian, and Team Melli can unquestionably test any defence. No regional watchers will underestimate Bahrain, who came close to toppling Japan in this year’s Asian Cup semi-final. The Bahrainis have a talented 22-year-old forward in A'ala Hubail, who scored five goals at the Asian Cup to share Golden Boot honours at the Asian Cup with Karimi. With thoughtful Croatian boss Srecko Juricic pulling the strings, expect some shocks from 2002’s ‘best mover’ in the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings. Korea DPR, who surprisingly topped Group 5 in the last round ahead of the United Arab Emirates, are clear outsiders in the group. However, the mys- terious team may remember beating Japan 2-0 in a FIFA World Cup qualifier in 1989, and there is always the historical inspiration of their England 66 qualification and subsequent quarter-final place. ============================================================================== Zico (Coach of Japan) “We are a team looking to make an impression in the World Cup finals, so we shouldn't be fussy about our opponents. We'd like to prepare well next year, as we did this year, to make sure we can win each game. We know Iran and Bahrain after our games against them in the Asian Cup. But that means they also know us well. Iran play attacking football and they have some ex- perienced players such as Ali Daei. ”Bahrain's attack was outstanding, although their defence had problems in the Asian Cup. But I'm sure they will have improved their game. We should make sure we are ready for the game against them. Korea DPR weren’t in the Asian Cup but are strong enough to advance to the final round of the quali- fiers. We will study them, but it's important for us to focus on our game. ”None of the games will be easy. It will be crucial for us to win at home in order to qualify. But if we can use all our abilities without becoming overconfident and show our determination to win, I am sure we can reach the finals.” Vice President Football Association Junji Ogura (JPN) It is apparent that we have been drawn into a very hard group. Iran, arguably one of the most powerful teams in Asia, will cause us problems. Bahrain are an emerging Asian team, who have shown their progress and talents in this year’s Asian Cup. We played them in the quarter-final of this Asian Cup, where we went through in a close 4-3. We don’t know too much about Korea DPR as we haven’t met them in recent years. We are concerned as to whether our fans and reporters would have problems with their visas travelling to Pyongyang with our team. And, as far as I know often the matches are staged in daytime in Pyongyang, but given that we need a better time to do the broadcasting, we will discuss with them about staging the match in the evening. -- █ ███ ███ █ █ ███ ███ █ █ █ ███ ███ ▇ █▂▂ █▂▂ █ █ █▂▂ █▂█ █ █ █ █▂▂ █▂▂ █▂█ █▂▂ ▂▂█ ███ ▂▂█ █ ▌ ███ █▂▂ █▂▂ ▂▂█ ~ M i h a j l o v i c ~ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.169.18.2
