Alessandro Del Piero has failed to recover from injury in time
to face Arsenal in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The attacker was hoping to at least start on the bench against
the Premiership outfit, but it has been confirmed that he will play
no part in his side's attempt to overturn the 2-0 first leg loss.
The club captain has been struggling with a thigh muscle problem
for the last 10 days and also missed the Highbury clash.
