The duo had been heavily linked with the Liga outfit at the request of former Juve boss Fabio Capello and a deal has finally been done. "Real Madrid would like to announce they've reached an agreement with Juventus for the signing of Fabio Cannavaro and Emerson," read a club statement. Real Madrid發表官方聲明：「Real Madrid宣佈與 JUVE達成協議，簽下 Cannavaro、Emerson。」 "The agreement was finalised this Wednesday evening in Turin by sporting director Predrag Mijatovic. Although Cannavaro had previously stated that he was ready to stay in Turin, he's opted to leave at the age of almost 33. Cannavaro has always been liked by Capello who unsuccessfully tried to sign him while Roma boss before Juve grabbed him two years ago from Inter.
