David Trezeguet has admitted that Juventus' new Stadio Olimpico
is proving to be an inspiration for the club.
The French striker has enjoyed an excellent start to life
in the new stadium, scoring three goals in two home matches
after becoming the leading foreign scorer in the Bianconeri's history.

“I have started very well and I am pleased with
this first part of the season,” said Trezeguet.

“I love the new stadium, it's very different
from the Stadio Delle Alpi but I like it much better.

“The Olimpico is much smaller and when you score you can feel
the entire crowd cheer you on – it's an amazing feeling.

“Last year the stadium was never sold out,
but now you cannot see an empty seat when you enter the pitch
and this is yet another motivation for all of us.
「去年的主場從來沒有滿座過，
不過現在當你走進球場是看不到空位的，這對我們來說又是一種激勵。」
“I imagined that our fans would support us,
even if in Serie B, and they proved I was right.
「我能想像我們的球迷就算在義乙也會支持我們，他們證明了我是對的。」
“Now I hope this continues, as we really need to feel
they are close to us,” concluded the former Monaco man.
「現在我希望一切能繼續，我們實在需要感受到他們跟我們很親近。」
Juventus will travel to Piacenza on Saturday and
Coach Didier Deschamps knows that it will not be an easy match.
“Piacenza are a good side and have proved that they can do well,
but I am confident that we can continue our recent good form,”
said the Coach, who did not include Igor Tudor,
Nicola Legrottaglie and Jonathan Zebina in squad for the game.
