The Frenchman's previous agreement was due to expire in 2009, but he's now put pen to paper on a deal which will run until 2011. Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco was also happy that the full-back, who has had his injury problems over the last 24 months, is going nowhere. “Jonathan is an important player on whom we can count on and he will give stability to the entire defensive department,” commented the official.
