Ranieri:“A fun match to watch”
Claudio Ranieri was right. His Juventus didn't feel inferior to Roma and
they showed it on the pitch by keeping up with the League leaders on every
level. It was a brave performance which began even before the match,when
the line-up was announced, with the Manager's idea of playing three up
front.
Claudio Ranieri或許是個正確的選擇。他所率領的斑馬軍團並沒有在面對
羅馬這支目前榜首隊伍時感到自卑，同時也以比賽中，各方面彼此抗衡的表現證明
這一點。其實他們的勇敢表現在比賽前夕早已顯露無疑──當Ranieri發佈以三前鋒
領銜的先發陣容之時。
After the match Ranieri explained his move like this: “I wanted to give
a strong sign to the team, i.e. that we can fight it out with anyone. As
Camoranesi wasn't available, I opted for this solution and the lads did
really well, they were equal to Roma, whom we were facing at their best.
We did well slowing them down. I think people who watched the match had
fun. The gap has decreased? It's early to say, we'll see what happens in
the rest of the tournament”.
Ranieri在比賽後解釋了他的佈陣：「我想要給予全隊一個強壯的訊號，這
讓我們足以挑戰任何對手。當我確定Camoranesi無法上陣時，我就選擇這樣的解決
方案。而且這些小夥子們也作得非常好，他們的表現與狀態大好的羅馬對等，我們
成功地減緩了羅馬的腳步。我想，今晚觀賞比賽的看倌們都可以從中獲得看球的樂
趣才是。至於『陣容的弱點是否減少了』這樣的問題，現在依舊不是談論它的時機
，我們將會在剩餘的聯賽中持續觀察的。」
The Manager then talked about individual players: “I'm really sorry for
Andrade, I'm afraid I’ll lose him for the whole season; I'll have to
find alternative solutions. Criscito had done well,I took him off because
he'd been booked and Totti kept taking him on. Del Piero? It's a shame,
he's unlucky at the moment, last Sunday with the woodwork,today the missed
penalty, but he's not troubled and this is the most important thing”.
之後Ranieri也談到了個別的球員：「我對Andrade感到非常遺憾，我很擔心他將會缺席
剩餘的聯賽，當然我將會針對他的缺位找尋頂替者。Criscito這場表現得不錯，我之所
以換下他是因為他領牌了。至於老皮，可能有點糗吧。最近他的運氣不是很好──上週
日射中門柱，今天罰丟點球，但最重要的事情便是他並沒有發生任何問題。」
