Domenico Criscito was born in Cercola, a small town near Naples, on the 30th of
December 1986, the son of Alfredo and Maria.
He has two sisters, Antonella and Rossella, and a brother, Andrea.
His girlfriend is called Pamela.

He is a young man who loves a normal life. When he's not training, he watches
television (his favourite programmes are, naturally, football matches) and he
listens to music.

Domenico refers dressing sporty during the day, while he dresses more elegantly
in the evening. He's very particular about the shoes he wears: they always need
to match the suit.

He's very focused on his football career.
When he watches games, he tries to study his possible opponents very carefully,
to eventually find their weak spots.

One sport apart from football that he follows quite regularly is NBA basketball,

He began playing at 5 years old with one main objective in his mind: to become
like Fabio Cannavaro, one of the greatest defenders of all time.

He made his debut as a striker but was then employed as a midfielder. Finally,
when he was 14, when he was at Genoa, he was moved back in defence and has been
playing there ever since.He's one of the most promising young players in Italian
football.
