Kings' Theus: I'd Love To Finish Out

Kings coach Reggie Theus knows the team's rough spot has placed his future
with the team in jeopardy, but claims that he believes in the team's
ownership.
"I believe that they want me to just fight the battle and in the end to allow
them to make their decision," he said of Kings co-owners Joe and Gavin Maloof
and basketball president Geoff Petrie. "And I'm OK with that. I really hope
that I have the opportunity to finish out. And that's not a plea in and of
itself, that's just me saying that to you.
"I believe in the plan. I believe in what Geoff and the Maloofs have in mind.
And whether it is a success on my side or not, I understand what we're trying
to do. That's my job is to try to do what they've asked me to do. I think I'm
at least moving in the right direction."
Sacramento has lost eleven of their last twelve games.
