But that's not the only reason. Green has the ability to score in bunches, especially in the open court, but he's not a good halfcourt offensive player. He struggles to create his own shot, but that doesn't stop him from trying. And that makes him one of the NBA's biggest black holes. It's another one of those complicated formula deals, but there's a simple list for folks like me who took the bare minimum of math in college. And Gerald Green is ranked as the league's second-biggest black hole. There are some good players on the list -- Josh Howard is No. 5 -- but it's never a good thing to be considered a black hole.
