In case you missed it, the Sacramento Kings today acquired backup big man Hilton Armstrong from the New Orleans Hornets for a 2016 second-round pick and cash. The move saves a decent amount of luxury tax money for the Hornets and gives the Kings another big man they can use. 這筆交易幫黃蜂省了錢國王得到了一個正需求的長人 Armstrong makes $2.8 million this season and can be a restricted free agent this summer if the Kings make him a Qualifying Offer of $3.9 million. Spencer Hawes is a center with one year left on his contract (just under $3 million next season) and has shown a nice ability to shoot and make the extra pass – he's just not a banger in the post. It's also possible the Kings would consider moving Donte' Greene in the right deal, who plays a swing position and would have to contend for minutes with Martin, Omri Casspi, and Francisco Garcia (when they are all healthy).
