The Detroit Pistons' Ben Wallace took home the Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors. Brand helped lead the Clippers to victories over the Nuggets and Lakers during a four game homestand, with averages of 23.3 points on .569 shooting, 11.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.00 blocks per game. The achievement is Brand's second Player of the Week award, as he was previously recognized for his impressive play during the week of 12/9/01.
