Coria has not dropped a match on clay since his upset semifinal loss at Roland Garros 2003 to Martin Verkerk. Coria improved to 8-1 on the season by winning his seventh title from his 11th career final. Coria earned $52,000 and 35 INDESIT ATP 2004 Race points. Coria i s the first Argentine to win the tournament since Guillermo Perez-Roldan in 198 7 Moya suffered his first loss at the tournament. He won in 1995 against Felix Ma ntilla and in 2003 against Coria. His record at the tournament now stands at 14 -1. Moya is the top seed in the Brasil Open, which starts Monday. Coria is jett ing to Marseille, where he is the second seed. Moya is 13-2 on the year in singles. He won in Chennai and retired during the S ydney final against Lleyton Hewitt with an ankle injury Top seeds Lucas Arnold and Mariano Hood won the doubles title when they defeate d wild card team Federico Browne and Diego Veronelli 7-5, 6-7(2), 6-4.
