Reds linked with Munich star

Liverpool have been linked with Bayern Munich midfielder Hasan Salihamidzic.
Rafael Benitez is rumoured to be interested in bringing the Bosnian
international to Anfield in a ￡5m move and the player has already
spoken of the honour of being linked with the European Champions.
"I've heard about interest from Liverpool and it is a great honour for me
to have the champions of Europe showing an interest in me," said Salihamidzic.
"It is great to hear that, but of course it is not up to me and I have a
contract here until 2007. It is up to the two clubs to decide."
Rumour Mill: Reds in for Solano?
According to the rumour mill, Liverpool are keen to take Nolberto Solano in
an exchange deal for Milan Baros.
The Czech striker has already agreed terms with the Midlands club but a fee
has yet to be agreed between the two sides.
With the Reds holding out for ￡7million for Baros and Villa refusing to
increase their ￡6.5million offer, the Peruvian right winger could make up
the balance.
