Pennant deal close
Liverpool are close to signing Jermaine Pennant after agreeing to pay
Birmingham's ￡6m asking price.
Liverpool had their initial bid of ￡3.5m turned down but the Reds returned
with a ￡6m bid after giving up on signing Sevilla's Daniel Alves. Birmingham
have accepted Liverpool's new offer and Pennant should become a Liverpool
player once he passes a medical.
Liverpool fan Pennant is expected to sign for the Reds in time to fly out to
their pre-season training camp later this week.
據說準備放棄Alves來簽Pennant，價格在￡6m左右
