we offer arbitration to Koskie, Blanco and Mulholland.
It gives us another month to negotiate with Koksie, and
since he is a type A free agent to cost whichever team
-- other than the Twins -- signing him their 1st round
pick for compensation, it may scare some teams off from
pursuing him, which looks like sort of an advantage for us.
Blanco is already signed to a two-year deal worth $2.7
million! by the Cubs, for which we'll get a supplemental-
round pick between the 2nd and the 3rd round in the June
draft next year.
As for Mulholland, the old man would settle down either
through arbitration or a one-year deal, and I don't even
know why the Twins would like to bring him back.
