[花絮] Minnesota Piranhas
這是白襪總教練 Ozzie Guillen 日前接受訪問時所做的比喻，
什麼是 piranhas？那是產在南美的一種淡水水虎魚，性情凶猛，有利牙，嗜肉，
換句話說，是一種食人魚。
Guillen 的意思是說，食人魚會這裡咬一口，那裡啃一塊，不知不覺吃個精光。
"They can beat you in so many different ways," he said in the visitor's
dugout at the Metrodome. "You wake up and say they're like little piranhas.
Chk, chk, chk. You wake up and you don't have no meat, just bones.
"All those piranhas -- blooper here, blooper here, beat out a ground ball,
hit a home run, they're up by four. They get up by four with that bullpen?
See you at the national anthem tomorrow.
Guillen 在球員時代就是個會防守，沒長打的游擊手，難怪他這麼稱許這些小個兒。
"People worry about the catcher, what's his name, Mauer? Fine, yeah, a good
hitter, but worry about the little [guys], they're on base all the time."
"Nobody talks about Tyner and Joe 'Ty Cobb' Punto," Guillen said. "And that
shortstop. We worry about Hunter and Morneau and the guy who kicks our
[butts] is the three guys who nobody knows their names."
聽到這樣的「讚美」還真不知道該作何感想呢！
