Man Utd v Wigan Barclays Premier League Venue: Old Trafford Date: Saturday, 20 November Kick-off: 1500 GMT (台灣時間11/20 23:00) 直播頻道 (((((((((( 台灣ESPN、MOD頻道 ESPN HD Live )))))))))) 上海體育、香港有線301(hd201)、泰星101 TEAM NEWS Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney may be on the bench after recovering from an ankle problem, while midfielder Paul Scholes is back after a ban. Rio Ferdinand complained of a tight hamstring in England's loss to France, although the centre-back says his half-time withdrawal was precautionary. Wigan will be without defender Gary Caldwell, who could be out for up to six weeks with a thigh problem. On-loan midfielder Tom Cleverley is ineligible to face his parent club. Injured/unavailable: Boyce (hamstring), G Caldwell (thigh), Cleverley (ineligible), McCarthy (ankle), Pollitt (elbow) MATCH PREVIEW - Last weekend's Villa Park comeback may have preserved Manchester United's eight-month unbeaten run, but yet another away draw means they are under increased pressure to claim maximum points on home turf. - The Red Devils have shared the points in six of their seven league games away from Old Trafford this season, and were arguably fortunate to avoid defeat at Villa, Sunderland, Fulham and Bolton. - However, with Wigan the visitors on Saturday, Sir Alex Ferguson's side will be confident of returning to winning ways. They thrashed the Latics 5-0 in both of last season's matches and have won all 11 previous meetings with Wigan. Wayne Rooney has scored nine times in those games - if Sir Alex was to hand pick a fixture likely to help Rooney rediscover form, this would be it. - However, inconsistent Wigan cannot be written off - while they were thumped 6-0 at Chelsea in August, they also caused a major surprise by winning at Tottenham a week later. Roberto Martinez's men have climbed out of the relegation zone after taking four points from home games against Liverpool and West Brom. MATCH FACTS Head-to-head ‧ Manchester United have won all 11 of their previous games against Wigan. That includes 10 Premier League matches plus the 2006 League Cup final. ‧ Opta statistics show that Manchester United have scored 17% of their chances into goals this season, the highest proportion in the top flight. Wigan's figure of 7% is the lowest. Manchester United ‧ The Red Devils have won 15 of their last 17 league games at Old Trafford, losing only once (to Chelsea). ‧ United have scored at least twice in 11 of their 13 league games this season. Only two clubs have stopped them scoring - Manchester City and Sunderland. ‧ They are the only unbeaten team in the country (all competitions). ‧ United are unbeaten in their opening 13 league matches for the first time in Premier League history. Wigan Athletic ‧ The Latics have netted 10 league goals this season, and are the top-flight's lowest scorers. ‧ Wigan have yet to win a league game away to one of the Premier League's 'big four clubs' (D2, L18). ‧ They have lost just two of their last 10 league and cup games. ‧ Wigan have lost five of the seven league matches in which their opponents opened the scoring, drawing the other two. M.E.N Prediction: United 2-0 Wigan - tough to see anything other than a home win Key men: United: Darren Fletcher - sets the tempo for Reds in midfield Wigan: Hugo Rodallega - striker will take most chances that come his way Skysports.com's prediction: United 1-2 Wigan One to watch: Victor Moses Lawro and Olly Murs' Premier League predictions United 3-0 Wigan They remain unbeaten at home, but this Manchester United team, by their own very high standards, have played some average football this year at Old Trafford. They are starting to get one or two players back from injury, which well help them. If Wayne Rooney is fit it will be a big boost. Rooney is a world class footballer and is a huge asset. But what will be interesting is what the reaction of the supporters will be to him? Just when you think Wigan are starting to sink again and have a poor result, they come up with another win - the latest against West Brom at the weekend. They keep doing it on a regular basis. However, having seen Wigan I do not think they are a team who are capable of closing out matches. Their better players are their more attacking players and by playing defensively you would have to restrict those individuals which does not make sense. It will be an open game, which is why I think United will beat them quite easily. http://tinyurl.com/23w8o9f http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/9196439.stm http://www.skysports.com/football/match_preview/0,19764,11065_3283504,00.html http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/football_focus/9205695.stm -- ★ ╔╦═╮╔╮ ╭╔╮ ╭╔╦═╮ ╔╮╔╮╭╦═╮╔╮═╮ ☆ ☆ ╠╬╦╯╠╣ ║╠╣ ║╠╣ ║ ╠╣╠╣╠╬═╣╠╣ ║ ★ ★ ╰╝╰╯╰╝═╯╰╝═╯╚╯═╯ ╰╰╯╯╰╝ ╰╰╝ ╰ ☆ SCORING MACHINE︰ Ruud van Nistelrooy ★ ╔╮═╮╭╦╦╮╭╦═╮╭╦╦╮╔╦═╮╔╮ ╔╦═╮╭╦═╭═╦╮╮ ╔╮ ╠╣ ║ ╠╣ ╚╩╦╮ ╠╣ ╠╬╣ ╠╣ ╠╬╦╯╠╣ ║ ╠╣╚═╬╣ ╰╝ ╰╰╩╩╯╰═╩╝ ╚╝ ╚╩═╯╰╩═╯╰╝╰╯╰╩═╯═╩╯╰═╩╝ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 114.38.58.140
