Injuries: Drogba, Essien, Luiz Referee: Phil Dowd MATCH PREVIEW - Don't let anyone kid you that this clash will lack its usual ferocity because it's not a title decider or Champions League knock-out crunch like last season's four meetings that reinforced Manchester United's superiority over their deadly rivals. - Many pundits say it will be a two horse title-race between the Manchester clubs. Sir Alex Ferguson is too long in the tooth to believe that. He knows Chelsea's experience makes them realistic contenders and if Manchester United's record-breaking start continues with a 20th home win on the spin, they will land a huge psychological blow. - The champions are in full flow: 18 goals after four matches is a new Premier League record. Wayne Rooney has hit eight of them - more than any team apart from Manchester City! If he nets again, it'll be the best ever Premier League scoring start to a season by a United player. - But goals could come from anywhere and Chelsea won't want to see Javier Hernandez, that's for sure. The little smiling assassin banged in three huge strikes against them last season, including a first-minute effort at Old Trafford as Chelsea's game plan was again blown apart. In six of the last seven meetings in Manchester, United have scored the opener. If that happens again, I can't see a way back for the visitors. - Chelsea are gathering momentum themselves with four wins on the bounce. Juan Mata has started well and Raul Meireles has been outstanding. - But the Fernando Torres enigma is casting a shadow over the whole club. If he can roll back the years to 2008 when he ran Nemanja Vidic ragged in Liverpool's 4-1 romp at United then all doubts about his Chelsea future would be over. But, totally devoid of confidence so far this season, he's unlikely to reach those giddy heights on Sunday. - Manchester United have too much fire-power. Chelsea have too many questions to be resolved. Home win for me. MATCH FACTS Head-to-head - Manchester United ended a run of three successive league defeats to Chelsea when they beat the Blues 2-1 at Old Trafford in May. - In 38 Premier League meetings, Chelsea have the upper hand with 13 wins to Manchester United's 11. - Chelsea have only managed one clean sheet in their last 16 league trips to Old Trafford. - This will be the 162nd meeting between the sides. Manchester United have won 70, Chelsea 44 and there have been 47 draws. Manchester United - Manchester United's 18 goals after four matches is the most by any club at this stage of a top-flight season in 64 years since Wolves (20 goals) in 1947-48. - There have been 94 goals scored in the league this season - 33 of those have been scored by Manchester Utd and Manchester City combined (35%). - Wayne Rooney has scored eight league goals this season - it took him until 2 April last season to reach the same milestone. - United have scored in their last 32 consecutive matches at Old Trafford in the league, winning 30 and losing just one of those matches. The solitary defeat was against Chelsea in April 2010. Chelsea - At this stage of last season Chelsea had scored 15 goals in four matches (6-0, 6-0, 2-0 and 3-1). - The Blues have only kept one clean sheet in their last eight league games. Chelsea had 19 shots at Sunderland on Saturday but only five were on target. Lawro's predictions Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea I like the look of Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas. I like his demeanour and his freshness, and I think his players will too. He looks an easy manager to deal with. People are saying this is United's first test of the season after their superb start but it is a really big test for Villas-Boas too. It will be fascinating to see how he sets up his team at Old Trafford because we will find out his mindset - will he be happy with a point, or look to turn them over? He has left a couple of players like John Terry and Frank Lampard out of their midweek Champions League win over Bayer Leverkusen because he knows his team have to be ready for this game. United just seem able to find their opponents' weakest link at the moment and the way they look when they come forward means they will be too much for most teams. Villas-Boas is slowly but surely turning Chelsea into his team, but it might take him a while and I cannot see Chelsea ending United's 100% winning start to the season.
