Manchester United player ratings: Bruno Fernandes and Fred good vs Everton
Man United won their third Premier League fixture of the season at Everton and
this is how the players rated.
David de Gea - 5 (不是第一個吧
Beaten at his near post by Bernard in what was the first goal he was directly
culpable for this season. Largely untroubled otherwise.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 5
Should have closed down Bernard better and let Lucas Digne in to hit the
woodwork. Did not improve much in the second-half.
Victor Lindelof - 6
Underwent a late fitness test but lost an aerial duel that inadvertently
assisted Bernard. Harry Maguire dominated the United defence. Defended stoutly
at the death.
Harry Maguire - 8 (今天踢得好!!!
Steadier than in midweek and his sense of confrontation with Jordan Pickford
and Lucas Digne was much-needed. Superb header to deny Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Luke Shaw - 8 (最近助攻回來啦!!
Adventurous against the ageing Seamus Coleman and claimed a second assist of
the week by crossing for Bruno Fernandes. Came off hurt in the second-half.
Scott McTominay - 7
More alert than counterparts Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure. Shielded United's
defence with relative success.
Fred - 8
Had the measure of his compatriot Allan and his passing quickened United's
attacks. His energy was key as the game entered the final quarter.
Juan Mata - 6
Could have been involved more often and slightly surprising he stayed on as
long as he did. Prudent with the ball.
Bruno Fernandes - 8 (8分太低啦!!!!
His performance level rose again with a fine header and attempted cross that
put United ahead. Upped the tempo and intensity.
Marcus Rashford - 6
Posed a regular threat against Coleman, left isolated by James Rodriguez.
Denied by Pickford when he should have scored at 2-1.
Anthony Martial - 6
Should have scored at 0-0 and sufficiently occupied Everton's unconvincing duo
of Michael Keane and Mason Holgate.
Subs
Axel Tuanzebe - 6
Came on for Shaw at left-back, where he had only played once before.
Paul Pogba - 5
Played on the left wing.
Edinson Cavani - 7 (El Matador!!!!!!
Scored his first for United.
Manager
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - 7
His midfield selections were vindicated and the balance of the attack was not
compromised by the absence of Mason Greenwood.
