SAN FRANCISCO — A.J. Burnett will pitch for the Marlins today, after all.
And it's not out of the question that he could wind up making quite a few
more starts wearing teal.
With a proposed trade to the Baltimore Orioles all but dead, Josh Beckett's
health a question and All-Star left-hander Dontrelle Willis struggling, the
Marlins are considering a new wrinkle: keeping Burnett for the rest of the
season.
