Clay Hensley will be Florida Marlins closer for now; Leo Nunez out

Lost in the drama of Wednesday’s Fight Night between the Marlins and
Nationals was right-hander Leo Nunez, who pitched a scoreless eighth inning
when the Marlins led 16-10.
That wasn’t to just give Nunez a little work in a blow out. Manager Edwin
Rodriguez said Nunez will pitch earlier in games until he can re-gain
confidence in his pitches, and Wednesday was his first day on the his new
job.
Right-hander Clay Hensley will inherit the closer’s role. For now.
“I talked to Leo about it and we’re on the same page,” said Rodriguez,
adding that Nunez confided in his manager that he has lost confidence in
throwing his pitches for strikes.
Rodriguez said Nunez could be inserted back into the closer’s role as soon
as next week, depending on his progress.
Nunez blew his last save Sunday in Atlanta, allowing three runs on a pair of
homers in the bottom of the ninth inning.
Nunez was 3-for-6 in save chances with a 9.31 ERA in the month of August.
Overall, Leo has 29 saves and eight blown saves.

Rodriguez表示在LEO可以對他自己的投球重拾信心之前會先讓面對投9局之前的打者，禮
拜三就是他新職責的第一天。而右投手Hensley將會接任終結者。至少目前還是。代總
認為LEO只是暫時失去信心，視LEO的進展程度，可能最快下禮拜就可以讓他回到終結者位
置。LEO的8月是6次救援機會、3次救援成功、9.31ERA，而本季則是29次救援成功、8次救
援失敗。
Sanches aching
Right-hander Brian Sanches won’t be available until Sunday at the earliest
because of a mild intercostal strain on his right side.
Right-hander Chris Leroux was recalled from New Orleans to add some depth to
the bullpen.
右投手Brian Sanches因為右肋間拉傷，至少到星期天都無法出賽。(多災多難馬大魚...)
而拉上來的是右投手Chris Leroux，將會支援牛棚。
Bonifacio to the infield
With Donnie Murphy out for the season, the versatile Emilio Bonifacio will be
used mainly as a backup infielder the rest of September.
Bonni had played outfield, too, but Scott Cousins, called up from Class AAA
New Orleans, will be the Marlins’ fourth outfielder.
因為Murphy整季報銷，Bonifacio將會接替他內野工具人的位置，而原先的外野將會由從
3A拉上來的Scott Cousins負責4號外野手。
其他消息:
原本預計接下來的輪值應該是JJ、Sanabia、Sanchez、Volstad，但因為Sanabia和Volstad
都被禁賽，且至少會跳過一次輪值，代總預計Sanabia的那場將會用牛棚車輪戰，先發可能
是像Burke Badenhop這類的長中繼，另一個選項則是直接從小聯盟拉先發投手上來。而
Volstad那場的替代人選則尚未公布。
(個人感想:馬大魚多災多難= =，唯一值得高興的就是Morgan總計可能會被禁賽15場
