The N.B.A.'s insurance carrier has excluded Stoudemire for career-ending
injuries to either knee (the right one had arthroscopic surgery) or his eye.
沒有明確查到什麼是「傷病條款」；不過依目前查到的資訊，他的合約不包含制式
球員合約（Uniform Player Contract）的Section 3(e)(iii)：讓球隊有權在球員
特定傷病狀況下解除合約，所以目前主要的薪資網站都把Amare的合約列為全額保障。

(e) [deleted] Player Contract [deleted] shall be, in whole or in part, and
subject to any conditions or limitations, protected or insured [deleted]
in the event that such Contract is terminated by the Team by reason of

至於保險公司不保的部份，據 NYTimes.com 的說法是：雙膝跟右眼。

當初 Amare 在太陽最後一年，即將進入自由球員市場時，太陽跟他的談判重點，
除了尼克開價實在太高以外，舊合約的保險公司拒保（如果能續簽留在太陽的）
新合約的膝蓋跟右眼部分，也是太陽決定放人的理由之一。
太陽有醫龍團隊都沒有保險公司要保了，他在尼克這張將近一億美金的新合約，
應該也找不到保險公司願意承做。
