又一個被記者誤導的例子....

這個作者引用 Fox Sports Florida 記者 Chris Tomasson 的資料
Chris Tomasson 將當天LBJ與記者之間的談話做了記錄:
Frank Vogel said after last night's game, "They're the next team that's in
our way and that's how we're approaching it.''
Vogel在晉級東區決賽前的訪談說"他們是我們在邁向總冠軍路途上的下一隻隊伍。"
Reporter to LeBron: “Vogel kept saying last night that you guys are just
another team.’’
記者跟LBJ說:"Vogel昨晚說你們只是'another team'。"
another team其實翻成普通隊伍不是很精確，但大致上意思沒錯。
another的用法大家國中/高中應該有學過，
舉例來說: 桌上有一堆蘋果，我吃了一顆，因為我很餓，
所以我可以再吃 another(另一顆) 蘋果。
這裡的 another 指的是，因為剩下的蘋果都是很類似的東西，所以隨便選一顆都可。
所以 another team 就代表著，記者說" Vogel 說你們(熱火)只是另一隻隊伍。"
這另一隻隊伍的意思就是指跟其他20幾隻差不多的意思，所以翻成"普通隊伍"是ok的。
但很明顯地，下一隻隊伍(next team)跟普通隊伍(another team)是兩回事。
然後下面就是LBJ對此做的回應，前一篇也有翻譯了，這邊就不翻
LeBron: “We’re not just another team. I don’t understand what he’s
saying. But we’re not just another team. It’s not true.’’
Another reporter asks what he said.
LeBron: “He said we’re just another team in their way. We’re not just
another team. We’re a great team. We’re very confident. We’ll be ready for
them. But if we’re just another team, you really don’t prepare for just
another team. We’re not just another team. You got to be prepared for us.’’
結論: 記者表示: 又上鉤了，成功炒到話題。
