The pairing of LeBron James and Anthony Davis with the Los Angeles Lakers
sparked a conversation with another dynamic pairing — that of James and
Chris Bosh. It’s been five years since the two and Dwyane Wade dominated the
Eastern Conference from South Beach with the Miami Heat, but Bosh still
remembers what it’s like to play with the superstar that has reigned the NBA
for most of his career.
湖人今年把LBJ跟Anthony Davis組在一起，這讓大家想起以前另外一組組合--LBJ跟Chris
Bosh。距離他們跟Wade最後一次率領熱火稱霸東區已經五年了，但是Bosh仍然記得跟LBJ這
位超級明星一起打球稱霸NBA的感覺。
“Playing with LeBron was like buying a Ferrari,” Bosh told ESPN’s Brian
Windhorst. “You know it’s the best in the world. It looks amazing when you
see it. But you have no idea how powerful it is once you try to drive it. You
can go right off the road.”
「跟LBJ一起打球像是買了一台法拉利，」Bosh跟ESPN記者Brian Windhorst說到。「你知
道這是世界上最棒的車子，當你看到它時，它看起來是那麼美好，你沒試乘前，你永遠不

There was no instruction booklet and a YouTube video that could properly show
Bosh how to drive a Ferrari — neither was there one for playing with James.
Much like getting into that Italian mix of luxury and exotic looks, Bosh had
to just get in, strap up his seat belt, and drive.
世界上找不到說明書，Youtube上面也沒有影片可以教一下Bosh怎麼開一台法拉利--跟LBJ
打球也是同樣的狀況。所以，在看到法拉利那個充滿奢華又吸引人的外表後，Bosh就是上
了車，安全帶綁了，就開車了！
The Heat Big 3 was forged within repeated participation with USA Basketball,
but even that experience wasn’t enough to dictate their on-court chemistry.
熱火三巨頭也數度參加美國籃球隊，不過那樣的經驗也不足以說明他們三人在球場上的化
學反應。
“Team USA and the All-Star games are catalysts for chemistry, but it’s not
real life,” said Bosh. “You’re coming in with known unknowns and you hope
to find a rhythm by maybe Christmas and then get better from there.”
「參加美國隊以及參加明星賽會對場上的化學反應有催化作用，但是那不是真實狀況，」
Bosh說。「你知道上場會碰到一些未知的狀況，所以希望到了聖誕節前可以找到打球的節
奏，然後希望可以越打越好。」
The Lakers have rolled to an 8-2 record with James and Davis thus far, but
injuries, slumps, and other setbacks could come along throughout a long
82-game season. Learning how to brake, maneuver, and step on the gas pedal
will prove key for Davis to develop his relationship with James, much like it
did for Bosh.
湖人在LBJ跟AD的帶領下，目前是8勝2敗，但是整個球季有82場比賽，傷病，低潮以及一些
挫折會發生。學習如何減速，操控，或是用力踩下油門將會是AD學習如何跟LBJ打球的重要
關鍵，就像Bosh跟LBJ一樣。
