http://www.startribune.com/507/story/471870.html The word out of Utah was that Blaine native Patrick O'Bryant, who played in college at Bradley, made such a good impression in a workout with the Jazz that the 7-foot center is at the top of their draft list. ESPN.com's Insider reported that one Eastern Conference scout called O'Bryant the top prospect in the draft. "While that may be one lonely opinion, it does appear that O'Bryant's stock is on the rise," read the report. "He is long, athletic and the only legit center in the draft. He might have a big draft in his future." http://nbadraft.net/draftbuzz060.asp Pecherov and Rodriguez Impressive in Workouts Ukraine forward Oleksiy Pecherov had a very strong workout against Hilton Armstrong, one scout described it as Pecherov absolutely destroyed Armstrong. With teams in the late lottery intrigued, look for Pecherov to go somewhere in the 12-18 range. Sergio Rodriguez has been very impressive in workouts. He struggled this past year, but a number of International scouts are still very high on Sergio, and he has been impressive in workouts, especially for teams on the West Coast. Rodriguez will look for a promise in the first round, and it now appears he will get one. Shannon Brown Moving Up Michigan State Junior shooting guard Shannon Brown has been very impressive in workouts, so impressive a number of scouts feel he has leap-frogged his teammate Maurice Ager and should be selected in the 15-20 range. The knock on him has always been that he is too small and lacks a position, but with his incredible athleticism he's able to overcome that. Brown is one of the most athletic guards in the draft, his jump shot has vastly improved and it appears he will stay in the draft and be a mid first round pick. http://www.boston.com/sports/basketball/articles/2006/06/04/ a_strategy_to_beat_the_press/?page=4 Morrison, meanwhile, will be limited to four workouts prior to the draft: Toronto, Chicago, Charlotte, and Portland. Yup, those are the teams with the top four picks, which gives you some idea of where the wired Bartelstein thinks Morrison will go. http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/oregonian/index.ssf?/base/sports/ 114947793784490.xml&coll=7&thispage=2 Not expected to work out for the Blazers is Louisiana State guard/forward Tyrus Thomas, who has stated he will only work out for the teams with the top three picks (Toronto, Chicago and Charlotte). -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 58.62.98.220
