Due to a lack of practice time and the Clippers full schedule, it sounds very
unlikely that Elton Brand (Achilles) will play more than one or two games for
the Clippers this season, if at all.
The Clippers have five sets of back-to-back games remaining and only twice do
they have consecutive off days for extensive practice opportunities for Brand.
"I don't know the number but I'm going to try to get some games in,'' Brand
said. "It would be a disappointment if I wasn't able to get any official games
in. But as soon as the guys are ready, I'll be playing five-on-five, anyway,
right after the season.'' Take that for what it's worth, but it doesn't seem
like there's a reason to hold on.
