Kirilenko opts for surgery, will miss a month
Andrei Kirilenko will have surgery on Friday to remove a bone fragment on his
right foot and is expected to miss about a month of action.
There is no official timetable for a return, but three to four weeks seems to
be the popular theory. Usually when a star goes down there's a clear-cut
beneficiary, but for the Jazz, guys like C.J. Miles, Kyle Korver and Matt
Harpring may see a boost in minutes, but none must-have players. In fact,
Mehmet Okur may see the biggest boost in production of any other player on
the team.
