Jameer Nelson hopes to return this season
Magic guard Jameer Nelson is optimistic that he can delay shoulder surgery
and return to play this season, though GM Otis Smith is skeptical.
"I’m 10 times better already," Nelson said. "And that’s what’s giving me
hope." The fact that his shooting shoulder is injured makes a return less
likely, but you might as well stash him away if you have an available spot.
A final decision --to have surgery or attempt a comeback this season-- is
expected within two weeks.
