Report: Ellis' absence raising questions
Marcus Thompson of the Contra Costa Times is reporting that Monta Ellis'
absence is raising concerns by Warriors' team sources that his departure was
at least partially a protest of some type.

A couple of certainties arose in the report, namely that he would not be
joining the Warriors Friday in Detroit, and that he would be "ready to go"
Wednesday against the Nets. The rest is speculation from team sources that
include him purposely missing a team photo, packing more luggage than was
necessary to go deal with his family matter, and a number of allegations that
suggest that Ellis is very discontent being a Warrior. With all that in mind,
good luck if you own Ellis, you're going to need it.
