G Devin Harris underwent an MRI Tuesday and it confirmed the original
diagnosis that he suffered a sprained left shoulder Sunday in his fall
against the Clippers Sunday. The MRI also revealed a strained deltoid muscle.
The Nets feared Harris might have something worse than the strain that was
the original diagnosis. While the MRI also uncovered a strained deltoid
muscle, it confirmed the left should sprain. "He didn't have anything
structurally wrong and that is positive," said team president Rod Thorn. "But
he is still very sore." There is no timetable for Harris' return, but
estimates suggest he'll be out from one to two weeks.
