Coach O'Brien expecting the worst on Granger
Danny Granger will have an MRI on his foot/heel on Monday, while coach Jim
O'Brien is expecting the worst in what the results will tell on Tuesday.
"That’s my mindset," O’Brien said Monday. "I’d like to be pleasantly
surprised, but I’m preparing for the worst." Granger was taken off a plane
on Sunday in a wheel chair because he was in so much pain and it sounds like
he's in serious doubt to play in any of the Pacers' three games this week.
Granger has surprised us before, and could play this week, but is simply too
risky to start as of now.

Granger could miss a lot of time for Pacers
Mike Wells said on Twitter that Danny Granger had to be taken off the team's
charter flight in a wheelchair before take off Sunday because his foot was in
too much pain.
Jim O'Brien also seems to be preparing to be without Granger for the
foreseeable future, meaning Dahntay Jones should be held, and possibly
started, by fantasy owners. We won't know MRI results until Tuesday, but
Granger should be benched until further notice.
