Derrick Rose does not sound overly concerned about his strained ribs. "It's
nothing like the ankle," Rose said. "The ankle was the worst injury. It was
like breaking it or something. ... If I don't have that [explosiveness]
there's really no point in me playing." Rose needed two painkilling
injections to get through Tuesday's game, but finished with 21 points. As of
now, we're still expecting him to be active for Thursday's matchup with the
Knicks.
