Amare Stoudemire left Thursday's game in the final moments due to an ankle
injury, and finished with 15 points on 4-of-17 shooting (including a three)
with two rebounds, three steals, and two blocks in 32 minutes.
Amare is being called "day-to-day" and he is not guaranteed to play in
Saturday's game against the Kings. Bill Walker could be worth a look
if Stoudemire cannot go, but owners should not reach until they learn
which player Mike D'Antoni is going to turn to. Stoudemire has been shut down
for two straight nights, so maybe some time off will help him get things
figured out. Tyson Chandler, who is already starting, would also see a boost
if Amare is out.
