Marc Gasol (knee) has a Grade 2 MCL sprain of the left knee that does not
require surgery and is out indefinitely.
While no timetable has been set for Gasol's recovery, MCL sprains of this
variety generally take 6-8 weeks to heal. There was initial concern that
the injury was a complete tear, in which case he would undergo surgery and
recovery would take significantly longer. While those fears have been assuaged,
Gasol will still be out for a prolonged period. Gasol relies heavily on his
nimbleness and light feet beneath the basket to make quick passes and rack up
the assists, as well as shifting into position for blocks.
Hopefully none of that is lost when he returns. Kousta Koufos will see a big
uptick in minutes and should be added by owners seeking to replace a portion
of Gasol's production.

目前評估並不需要動手術，僅需要透過治療來恢復
但是這樣的恢復時間也不會太短
一般以內側副韌帶扭傷而言，大約需要6-8週的時間
目前需要再進一步擔心的是，內側副韌帶有沒有因這個扭傷而撕裂
如果有部分撕裂的話，那麼所需要的時間就更長了
總之，目前球隊給出的消息是不需要動手術
但是也並無確切歸期
K. Koufos預料將會得到大量的時間
另外附帶一提，D. Rose大約再2小時後才會照MRI
