最近連續看到好幾個教練達成生涯勝場紀錄，稍微整理一下，歡迎大家一起補充。第一個是之前網友 Huskers提到的，Arizona 的名人堂教練Lute Olson，取得他在亞大執教的第五百場勝利，Olson 目前在 Arizona已經拿下 503 勝 148敗，生涯通算 695勝 230敗。第二個是Duke的教練 Mike Krzyzewski，十一月廿七日對 University of he Pacific的比賽取得生涯第 665場勝利，在教練生涯總勝場數排行上，超越前UCLA傳奇教頭 John Wooden，獨居第十八位。目前 K在Duke的戰績是 595勝 176敗，生涯通算 668勝 235敗。第三個是Maryland的教練 Gary Williams，十二月十一日擊敗排名第一的 Florida 剛好也是他在Maryland獲得的第三百場勝利。Williams在MD的戰績是 300勝 155敗，生涯通算 507勝 283敗。第四個是Louisville的 Rick Pitino，十二月十三日擊敗與上述同一支名義上仍為第一的 Florida，是Pitino生涯第四百場勝利。他在目前在執教的Louisville才開始第三年，共計獲得 48勝 21敗，生涯通算 400勝 146 敗。第五個是Georgia Tech的 Paul Hewitt，十二月十三日對 St. Louis是他在Georgia Tech的第一百場比賽，Hewitt前一百場 56勝 44敗的紀錄使他與 Roy Mundoff並列校史第一，前名教練 Bobby Cremins的前一百場記錄是 55勝 45敗。Hewitt生涯通算 121勝71敗。 -- "The game of basketball is over coached and under taught." - Bobby Knight "I had a chance to hear Pete Newell speak, and he said he thinks the game today is over-coached and under-taught.
