Clijsters to miss Paris
World number two Kim Clijsters has pulled out of the French Open because of a wrist injury.
Clijsters suffered a setback in her comeback after six weeks out with a torn wrist tendon when she was forced out of the German Open this week.
And she announced on her personal website that she would not be fit for Roland Garros, which starts on 24 May and runs until 6 June.
Her withdrawal could also make her a doubt for Wimbledon next month.
Clijsters has one of the busiest schedules in tennis. She played over 100 singles matches last year along with some 50 doubles matches.
