Heading for Hasselt 06-09-2006 Until now, the recovery has been going according to plan, meaning that I should be able to play again before Gaz de France Stars in Hasselt. So, good news from the doctors yesterday. After a new scan and analysis of the wrist everything seems to be going according to plan. Which means that I should be able to start wrist exercises in about five weeks and start training again the week after that. Meaning that I should be able to play the Hasselt tournament at the end of October. It will be after more than two months of not being able to train or exercise, but then again every first tournament after a recovery is a new start. I'll be having a check-up in two weeks time. Meanwhile I'm trying to look after the wrist as careful as possible. So besides housekeeping, some shopping and spending a lot of time with my family and the dogs, I'll also be around for the training matches of the basketball competition. I hardly watch the US Open. It is difficult to to do so, I would have preferrend being on the court myself. I did see Agassi's last moments on court though. I also would like to thank everyone for the nice support on the internet forum and all the presents and mail I get. A real treat to know so many people support me.
