Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs). 兩隊之間對戰的戰績, 勝率高者晉級 2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. 兩隊對所處分區的隊伍的對戰成績, 勝率高者晉級 3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. 兩隊對都共同遭遇過的球隊的對戰成績, 勝率高者晉級 4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. 兩隊對同一聯會球隊的對戰成績, 勝率高者晉級 5. Strength of victory. 贏的對手的強弱度, 這條跟下一條好像是這兩年才加進來的, NFL現在會看各隊遭遇的對手來判定該隊今年的schedule 難不難打, 比方說一隊都是贏Bengals, Texans這種肉腳, 而輸Packers, Buccaneers這種強隊, 那就比較沒有晉級優勢 6. Strength of schedule. 跟上條類似, 只是上一條是看贏的場次, 這條是看全部賽程 7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. 這條不會翻 8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. 這條也不會, 因為不知combined ranking的定義 9. Best net points in common games. 兩隊比跟共同對手的比賽的得分, 得分者多晉級 10. Best net points in all games. 兩隊比所有16場比賽的得分, 得分多者晉級 11. Best net touchdowns in all games. 兩隊比所有16場比賽的達陣數, 達陣多者晉級 Three or More Clubs (Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format). 1. Three or More Clubs (Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.) 1. Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. The original seeding within a division upon application of the division tie breaker remains the same for all subsequent applications of the procedure that are necessary to identify the two Wild-Card participants. 2. Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.) 3.
